Sennheiser's reputation for providing quality audio equipment has gained near legendary cult status. With numerous accolades received throughout its 60 years, Sennheiser is a brand sworn on by industry sound experts, international stars and recording singers all over the world.

In 1996, The American Academy of Television Arts and Sciences honoured Sennheiser with the Emmy® in recognition of the company's pioneering advances in the field of wireless microphones and radio frequency technology.
Sennheiser also won the Golden Ear Awards for its HE 60/ HEV 70 electrostatic headphone/ Amplifier combination in 1994, HD 565 Ovation dynamic headphones in 1995, and HD 475 dynamic headphones in 1996.
In 1987 Sennheiser received the "Technical Oscar", the Scientific and Engineering Award of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, for the MKH 816 "shotgun" directional microphone.
 
Patron of The Arts Award

As a renowned innovator and award-winning leader of cutting edge audio technology, it is only natural that Sennheiser is closely associated with the Arts.

With sound and music being one of the vital components of arts expression, Sennheiser Asia has assisted with the implementation of audio systems in many arts venues in Singapore such as the Asian Civilization Museum, Arts House, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Singapore Repertory Theatre and National Library’s Drama Centre.

Since 1983, the National Arts Council of Singapore has been recognizing individuals and organizations that have made significant contribution to the arts. Individuals and organizations recommended by the National Arts Council of Singapore will receive Singapore’s foremost recognition for arts sponsorship, the Patron of the Arts Award, from Dr Lee Boon Yang, Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts.

Sennheiser Asia was presented the Patron of the Arts Award in 2003 and the Associate of the Arts Award in 2005 for its contributions made to the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay and Arts House respectively.

 
 
Product Design Awards: IF Design Award

The IF Design Award is a prestigious trademark for outstanding design and is a visible symbol of product and service quality.
In 2005, the RS 130, RS 140 and HD 201 were presented with the IF Design Award.
In 2006, a total of eight Sennheiser headphones won the prominent IF Design Award – the PX 200, PX 100, MXL 70 VC Sport, MX 70 Sport, OMX 70 Sport, MX 75 Sport, OMX 50 VC Street and OMX 90 VC Style.
 
Product Design Awards: Red Dot Design Award

The Red Dot Design Award is another quality seal to Sennheiser's name in the audio industry.

In 2005, the HD 485 won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
In 2006, three more Sennheiser headphones, the HD 485, PX 200 and PXC 250 WHITE, also won the Red Dot Design Award.
