Las Vegas, 7 January 2008 — When it comes to headphones, the latest must-have product is from audio specialist Sennheiser: wireless stereo earphones that offer outstanding sound quality and are head and shoulders above conventional portable wireless headphones... Two trendy ear pieces (right/left) and a small transmitter means the MX W1 has everything you need to be able to enjoy music without being tied down by it. The system also includes a transport and charging case for when you're out and about.  Earphones without annoying cables have been high up the wish list of technology-minded music fans for some time. Now at last there is transmission technology that works without compression and therefore without loss of audio quality. Revolutionary wireless transmission  For the wireless enjoyment of sound, the player gives MX W1's small transmitter a "piggy back". "The transmitter is only the size of a matchbox and transmits CD quality music", said Product Manager Sven Wilhelmsen, explaining the system's advantages. "The transmitter makes conventional audio equipment radio-compatible. However, this detour will soon no longer be necessary, because Kleer products are fully compatible with one another. For example, an MP3 player with Kleer technology can transmit straight to our earphones.""With Kleer, the audio signal's latency is very low and transmission extremely interference-free", continued Wilhelmsen. "These advantages all mean that battery life is considerably longer than you would get with conventional transmission standards." This means smaller batteries that the user can replace — all in a compact and stylish design, as impressively demonstrated by the MX W1. For the first time, thanks to Kleer, you can now share your enjoyment of sound too: this technology allows you not just to have two completely separate earphones, but to have someone else with an MX W1 listening in too. Acoustic expertise  As well as using outstanding transmission technology, Sennheiser has always set great store on having the best acoustics. Newly developed transducers — manufactured in Sennheiser's competence centre in Ireland — reproduce detailed sound and a well-defined bass.
