| Sennheiser appoints Maxx-Energie as new official distributor for Evolution Microphones |

Manila, Philippines – 20 May 2009: Sennheiser, the world's leading manufacturer of microphones, headphones, and wireless transmission systems announced the appointment of Maxx-Energie Ventures Corp as the new official distributor for Sennheiser's range of Evolution Microphones in the Philippines.
Established in 1945 by Dr. Fritz Sennheiser, the Sennheiser Group recorded a global turnover of over €395 (US$538 million) million in 2007, an increase of 10.9 percent compared to 2006. Around 83% of Sennheiser's turnover was generated outside Germany, with the Asia and Australia market contributing a turnover of 37.8 million euros(US$51.4 million).
As part of its expansion plans in Asia, Sennheiser has identified the Philippines as a key market for its Evolution range of microphones. Ng Chee Soon, President and Managing Director of Sennheiser Electronic Asia, shares his perspective. "We know that there is a huge potential in the Philippines for our microphones as the people here are not just music lovers but very talented musicians as well. In conjunction with the appointment of Maxx-Energie as official distributor, Sennheiser and Maxx Energie also unveiled its first concept showroom in the Philippines. The Sennheiser showroom, features a comprehensive range of Sennheiser products, ranging from microphones, wireless systems, consumer headphones, accessories as well as Sennheiser branded merchandise.
With the new showroom, customers will be able to enjoy the convenience and first-hand experience of sampling the latest Sennheiser products in a one-stop location. Mr. Mike T. Sanchez, General Manager of Maxx-Energie Ventures Corp, is excited about the concept showroom. "By working with Sennheiser's other distributors for professional products and consumer headphones, we now have a full-fledged showroom showcasing the entire product portfolio of Sennheiser. Whether a customer is looking for a wireless system for a church installation, a headphone for an iPOD, or a customised mic skin for his microphone, they now only need to drop by our showroom in Greenhills."
The Sennheiser showroom is located at G/F Richbelt Terraces, 19 Annapolis St., Greenhills, San Juan. Store operating hours are Monday to Saturdays, 10am - 6pm.
